Zune Sleeves? A New Zune Anomaly Arises

Zune Sleeves? Ok, I was a bit stumped at first when I read the post at ZuneScene this morning. But now that I've had 3 cups of coffee I think I can offer some speculation as to WHAT the Zune Sleeves might represent. To catch you up, if you haven't heard already, Microsoft has purchased ZuneSleeves.com and loaded a URL to boot.

Right click the Zune Sleeves page and check out the source code

Notice the "Sleeves for Zune" in the meta keywords section. This propels me to the dictionary to find the definition of "Sleeve"

Google definitions says:

- the part of a garment that is attached at the armhole and that provides a cloth covering for the arm
- small case into which an object fits

Well, I can't imagine that Zune Sleeves would be a cloth garment that will attach my device to my armpit. But, I can certainly see definition #2 as being the obvious choice for a Zune Sleeve..

With the latest leaks regarding the 'Draco' and 'Scorpion' MP3 players slated to release for the holidays, I can certainly speculate that the Zune Sleeves will be a product line of small case-like socks for all sizes of the current and new Zune players.

Again, this is pure speculation on my part and this whole Zune Sleeve thing could actually be a cloth attachment to our armpits.... In which case, whoever has purchased "ZuneDeodorant.com" might stand to make some cash as well....
